Chamomile Tequila HighballCopy

The classic highball with subtle herbal notes.
  • Ingredients

    • 1.75 oz Cuervo® Tradicional® Añejo
    • 0.5 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
    • 0.75 oz Chamomile and Saffron Syrup
    • 1 Sprig Flowers for Garnish
    • 13.5 oz Boiled Water
    • 3 tea bags Chamomile Tea Bags
    • 1 pinch Saffron Strands
    • 14 oz Sugar
  • Instructions

    1. Chamomile and Saffron Syrup:
    2. Add the boiled water to a heatproof jug.
    3. Add the chamomile tea bags and saffron and stir to submerge.
    4. Leave to infuse for thirty minutes.
    5. Strain the liquid into a container.
    6. Add the sugar to the liquid and stir well to dissolve.
    7. Store in the fridge until needed.
    8. Chamomile Tequila Highball:
    9. Fill a highball glass with cubed ice.
    10. Add tequila, lemon juice, and chamomile and saffron syrup to the glass and stir gently, adding more ice as needed to fill the glass.
    11. Top off with soda water.
    12. Stir gently.
    13. Garnish with a sprig of flowers.
