Still family-owned, Centenario tequilas are crafted with 5+ year old 100% blue agave, which are cooked in traditional brick ovens 36-40 hours, milled then slow fermentation in stainless steel for 40-50 hours. The tequilas are double-distilled in small batches in copper pot stills, then aged — with even the silver tequila undergoing mellowing in oak. The añejo tequila is crafted using a proprietary Selección Suave process, which blends a mixture of different oak-barrel-aged batches to achieve the unique profile and a truly smooth spirit. Each Centenario tequila comes in an art deco bottle designed in 1920, adorned with The Angel of Independence.
